Miley is a very attractive marked bay tobiano. He is of good quality and has a very kind temperament. Miley is registered and graded with the Coloured Horse and Pony Society (UK). He was bred in Ireland.
Winner of the Youngstock class at the C.H.A.P.S. 1990 Southern Area Show, and also of the Equus Futurity Trophy for the youngster most likely to make the best competition horse.
Miley has not been given the opportunity to achieve his own competition potential through lack of time although he has proved to be a trustworthy hunter and a scopey athletic showjumper.
His progeny are proving themselves to be successful in showjumping as well as in the show ring, being highly placed at county shows and Wembley. Miley is the sire of Masterpiece who was a very successful graded showing stallion. Miley has also produced the dressage horse Masterplan who has won at Grand Prix.
Miley is also the sire of many good eventers including Milly Molly Mandy and Master Barley both members of the British Junior European Eventing Team 2003.
He is sire of advanced eventers Briarlands Blackberry and and the very successful KBIS Briarlands Matilda. Matilda was 75th in 2012 and 13th in 2013 in the British Eventing Top 100 horses, she was seventh at Burghley CCI**** (best british bred mare) and third at Bramham CCI*** 2012. She and her rider Izzy Taylor went as an Individual combination with Team GBR to the European Championships 2013 in Malmö.
Another son of Miley, Alvescot Mighty Mouse was best british bred 6yo at the Lycetts Young Horse eventing championships at Osberton 2012.
