Wanninger is 3/4 bred to Emma Hindle's Olympic dressage horse Lancet (7th in the individual Beijing 2008)

A son of the famous Wenzel who was the sire of Walk on Top (Volvo World Cup Champion 1998) and many graded stallions and top performance horses.

Wanninger's dam sire Shogun xx has had a big influence of Hanoverian breeding and is the sire of eventing Olympic Champion Shamrock.

Wanninger himself was Reserve Champion at his licensing in Verden, Germany.

He won and was placed at Grand Prix and GP Kur in the 1990's, he worked with enthusiasm and had wonderful rideability and went with very light aids.

He had excellent paces and a first class temperament.

Wanninger is the sire of a graded stallion which had the highest marks in his 100 day performance test. He also has many stock competing in Germany in both dressage and showjumping.

A foal by Wanninger was Champion at an area show in the south of Germany in 2003 scoring 9 for the trot and a foal by him was Best British Bred filly at the 2004 BHHS show.

Wanningers offspring are now coming through in the the uk in dressage and eventing he has several doing very well showing at county level.
